Please join us January 31st for a parent education evening on what parents need to know about teenagers and drugs. The presentation given to parents by the staff of F.A.I.R. will focus on the current trends of drug and alcohol use by adolescents in the 211 district. Click here for more information.

Staff, retired staff, and all interested parties are asked to make nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award. Each year at Honors Convocation in May, distinguished Fremd High School alumni are recognized. The award recognizes Fremd High School graduates for achievements in their profession and philanthropic contributions to their communities and provides current students with role models for exceptional accomplishments. Those nominated must have graduated from Fremd High School at least 10 years ago; demonstrate a high level of achievement with significant accomplishments in their field; and exhibit leadership, character, and service to their community. Individuals who wish to nominate an alumnus should complete the nomination form that is available on Fremd’s website under the “General Info” tab. The deadline for this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award nominations is January 31, 2012.

On Saturday, February 25, 2011, Fremd will be holding Operation Snowball. This is an all-day leadership event with guest speakers, team-building activities, group discussions and games. Registration will open February 1 through February 17 on a first come, first served basis. Registration information will be available closer to February 1.

The Viking Booster Club is proud to announce they will be giving a minimium of 30 $1000 Scholarships to our graduating seniors this year! Click here to read the letter and find the application. All applications are due to the Student Services Office by 3:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2012.

Recipients for a 2nd Semester Parking Permit can purchase ($65) his or her permit from Officer Bloomfield in the Discipline Office starting on Wednesday, January 18. Checks should be made out to Fremd High School or cash paid to the cashier prior to obtaining permit. Parking will begin on Tuesday, January 24 for 2nd semester parking.
