Interested in pursuing a career within the education field?  An enrichment program that meets on Saturdays for gifted children from PreK- Grade 8 at Quest Academy in Palatine is looking for TA’s. The fall session runs for 8 weeks, Sept. 29- Nov 17, from 9-11:30. It is a very fun and hands on TA position that will give lots of great experience within the classroom setting and the pay is $30 per Saturday.

October Career Treks:

October 3 – Entertainment Careers -Join us on a career trek to Medieval Times Wednesday, October3, periods 2-5.

October 5 – Animal Care Careers - Join us on a career trek to Brookfield Zoo, Friday, October 5, periods 1-7.  

October 5 – Advanced Manufacturing Careers - Join us on a career trek to Harper College for National Manufacturing Day.  Local Illinois manufacturers are offering paid internships in conjunction with Harper’s program.  Periods 5-8.

October 17 – Applied Math Careers - Join us on a career trek to BMO Harris Bank – Actuary, Statistician, Accountant, and Investment Banker will speak about their careers, Wednesday, October 17, periods 3-6.

October 19 – Pharmacy Careers - Join us on a career trek to Roosevelt University in Schaumburg.  periods 2-6.

October 25 – Speaker Sean Bauer from Walgreens will be talking about his business experiences, 7th period.  Come by for a pass if interested in joining Ms. Monticello’s class.
