Student Enrollment
All 8th grade students must complete the enrollment process. This process includes turning in the following documents:
- Township High School District 211 Master Enrollment Form
- Proof of Residency
- Child’s Original Birth Certificate
The Master Enrollment Form must be completed and signed by the child’s parent or guardian. This form will be mailed to parents in early November. Proof of Residency is satisfied by providing a bill from ComEd or NICOR that shows the name of the parent or guardian and an address within the Fremd High School attendance boundaries. A current signed lease indicating the names of the tenants, a contract documenting the purchase of a home, or a current property tax bill can be used to verify residency as well. An original certified birth certificate is required. All original documents will be photocopied and then returned to the parent or guardian.
All parents are asked to bring the required documents to the registrar's office. The office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 3:00pm.
Course Placement
Course placement is determined according to Explore test scores and 8th grade teacher recommendations. Placement decisions were confirmed through a mailing scheduled to be sent in late February.
Questions about course placement, the enrollment process, or events relating to the Class of 2013 can be directed to the Fremd Student Services office at 847-755-2630.
