IÕve been extremely interested in art pretty much my
whole life. My mom and older brother are both great artist ad I just always
wanted to follow in their footsteps and become an artist too. Digital
photography has always been very appealing to me, but I didnÕt actually start
photographing art until my freshman year in melons digital one class. My pieces
this semester have definitely had its ups and downs. I think I get more
motivated for projects that appeal more to me, and that comes out in my work
way more than it should. IÕm really excited for the pinhole project! IÕve never
shot photos from a regular film camera, so it should definitely be an
experience. Out of my four best pieces that one that IÕm really attached to is
the colored graveyard photo. I love it so much because I just had the best time
shooting it! I got costumes and funky hats and my best friend and I modeled in
it. This piece turned out even better than I imagined it and that is just a
great feeling. The piece that caused me the most difficulty was the alien
picture for sure. The whole alien project was difficult though, not just that
picture. The pictures I took for it ended up being dark and grainy and like an
idiot I waited till the last second to take new photos and those didnÕt turn
out good either! So I ended up using pictures I took over the summer and all
only one of them turned out to be good.
