Photo Final
To tell you the truth, IÕm not even sure how I got interested in photography. Whenever I looked at certain places or people I always was just registered into thinking that I could find a neat way to make it into a photo and I always had an interesting way of looking at everything in general. IÕm more interested in traditional photography because I love the process of creating the photos. And for starters, IÕm not very good at using computers in the first place; technology has never been one of my strong points. This semesters work has defiantly been better then my runs in Photo 1 and Photo 2. As I continue to shoot IÕm getting more and more creative ideas on how to take the photos and IÕm also looking at landscapes with a different viewpoint. Next semester I plan on pushing the limits and going out of my comfort zone to really shoot pictures that I know I would never do regularly. The most important picture that I have, I believe, is one of the photos that I created in the assignment of ÒCopycat.Ó I recreated a picture from Larry ClarkÕs work, with the boy smoking the cigarette and holding the baby in his arm. I love this picture because I believe it is the closest that I would actually get to recreating a photo with preciseness, and itÕs one of my first photoÕs IÕve taken that has been a representation off of another famous photographers work. The picture that I believe was the most difficult would be from the role ÒAlien,Ó with the boy smoking the cigarette in front of the light. It was hard because it consisted of a lot of burning to get the image to be the right contrast and composition.
