I first became interested in photography when I was in Poland and saw all the street art displayed all over the street and how simple and pretty it was.  I would always use my digital camera as a main source of capturing my memories, but after I saw the well-displayed photographs along the streets I wanted to try it.  I took photo one sophomore year and had a blast.  I learned so much in just that one year, that I couldnÕt resist not taking it next year.  This year IÕve had some interesting projects, some that I liked more than others, but overall itÕs been great.  I think I still need to learn a lot more and keep consistent with my photography.  I feel like I could have done a better job this year on shooting my pictures and managing my time.  These four pieces are one of my favorites.   I loved shooting in Chicago, which are the two architectural pictures, and I love taking pictures of my friends, such as the one of my friend AJ, who was part of my Alien project, and my friend Amanda who I shot in my friends bathroom!  Out of all the pictures the Alien one caused me the most difficulty because the print was actually a sandwich of two similar pictures.  It was difficult matching the faces together since they were both on a different angle, and it took a lot of time to get the contrast and darkness just right.   You just have to experiment to make your images interesting.  It takes patience but itÕs worth it.
