Photography Studio

In this class students bring their basic composing and printing skills and build significantly on them by creating a large portfolio of images throughout the year.  There are no traditional assignments, instead students periodically create statements that outline what they will be creating. Together, classes study historic and local artists to gather ideas for their statements.  This class is designed to simulate a college-level studio art course as much as possible. 

There is also a field trip to the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago in April.
