Mr. Pinley is a graduate of Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights. In 1984, he received a Bachelor's of Fine Art degree from the University of Illinois. He completed his Master's in Studio Art from Northern Illinois University in 1999. His teaching experience includes two years at Milford High School, and two years at Palatine High School before coming to Fremd High School in 1988. Mr. Pinley has coached girls basketball and girls track at Palatine and girls basketball at Fremd. He has also coached girls volleyball at Palatine. He was the head boys volleyball coach for thirteen years at Palatine High School. He is currently the head girls and boys volleyball coach at Fremd. His artwork has been exhibited in galleries in Chicago as well as in "Around the Coyote. Mr. Pinley has served as a member of the Big Brother program in Palatine. His teaching assignments this year include Photo II, Art & Design, 3D Design I, II & 3D Studio and Art in Contemporary Society.
