| Jim Guest-Department Head of Driver's Ed Graduated from University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. He also received his Masters degree at Chicago State University with a degree in Physical Education. Jim is certified in Health, Driver's Education and Physical Education. Jim is in his twenty-fourth year as a full time teacher. This is his eleventh year at Fremd High School, his fourth year as the Head of the Driver Education Department, and his second year as the Driver Education District Chair. His previous Driver Education teaching experience was at St. Charles High School, and summer school Driver Education teaching positions at Bartlett, Leyden, and York High School's. Mr. Guest has been teaching Physical Education at Fremd High School since the 2004-2005 school year. His previous Physical Education teaching experience was at Saint Charles High School. He taught Elementary Physical Education for his first nine years, including eight years in School District Unit #46. Jim started his career at Minooka Grade School. Jim has been coaching girl's gymnastics since the 1986-1987 school year. At Fremd High School, Jim has coached girl's gymnastics from the 2001-2002 school year through the 2010-2011 school year. His last seven seasons as the Head Girl's Gymnastics coach. He also served as the Head Boy's Gymnastics Coach for six years. His fifty three seasons of coaching include the sports of Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track & Field. Jim is in his first year as the Fremd Chess Team Coach. Email mailto:jguest@d211.org
