Raised on the mean streets of Hinsdale, Illinois, Oatmeal’s first exposure to music was listening to the jazz flute stylings of childhood hero, Ron Burgundy. Eventually moving from the flute to the drums after a freak reed-failure accident, Oatmeal started touring on the local scene with his first band The Tom Skilling Experience. As a member of FANBOYS, Oatmeal Hamman adds the foundation upon which the band’s "tower of music greatness" is built.
