A little about me:
I am from Rockford, IL. I received my Bachelor of Arts in the Teaching of Spanish from the University of Illinois. I have traveled to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain. While in High School, I gained an interest in Spanish but truly fell in love with its cultures and language when I lived in Costa Rica and volunteered with Spanish speakers in my community. Through my travels and volunteer work, I discovered how amazing it is to communicate in a foreign language. I can't wait to share my passion with all of you.

Feel free to contact me at asoriano@d211.org or call the Department at 847-755-2731
