OLD ACT Tests with Solutions
Students often say that Math and Science are very difficult because they
didn't know what to
expect or were not able to finish (especially science). One way to be
prepared for that is to
take a practice exam.
Here I have put a .pdf copy of the Math and Science section of two past ACT
tests along with
the 'teachers' explanation. This not only tells the correct solution,
but it also explains WHY it is
the correct answer.
Strategy: try taking one test of each in a timed environment
and see how you do. Then 'grade'
yourself and you can determine where you are making errors.
For the
Practice set 2, I was only able to get the teacher's answers for the whole
test, not each
section individually - so you will need to scroll past the English and
Reading.
ACT Bubble answer
Sheet - this is good to print out and practice the +/- method of
answering
questions discussed during the preparation sessions and to
make sure you don't mess up your
numbering. ACT Test 1
