SATURDAY, MARCH 21

Afternoon 160 passengers depart out of Chicago O’Hare aboard…

Evening 160 passengers arrive in Honolulu

Upon arrival - Receive a fresh flower lei greeting in the baggage claim area after arriving in Honolulu

9:45 PM Board motor coaches & depart for an area hotel

The Pacific Beach Hotel - 2490 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu

10:15 PM Check-in to the hotel

- Private nighttime security at the hotel (10:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m.) -

SUNDAY, MARCH 22

8:00 AM Walk over to Perry’s

8:15 AM Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Perry’s

Morning Walk over to Catamaran Cruise

9:30 am Enjoy a Catamaran Cruise (30-40 people per boat)

10:30 am Enjoy a Catamaran Cruise (30-40 people per boat)

11:30 am Enjoy a Catamaran Cruise (30-40 people per boat)

Afternoon Enjoy a little free time at the Beach! Lunch on your own (student cost)

6:00 PM Casual catered picnic-style dinner on the beach

7:45 PM Load motor coaches; depart for dance cruise

8:30 PM Dance the night away on a Moonlight Cruise w / D.J. Entertainment

10:30 PM Load motor coaches; return to the hotel

MONDAY, MARCH 23

8:00 AM Walk over to Perry’s

8:15 AM Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Perry’s

9:30 AM Load motor coaches; depart for the University of Hawaii

10:30 AM Fremd H.S. Concert Band Participates in a Clinic with Grant Okamura

Following Lunch on own (student cost)

12:00 PM Load motor coaches and depart for a Diamond Head Crater Hike

45-minute hike to the top, some time at the top and then the descent

3:30 PM Return to the hotel

Following Enjoy a little free time at the Beach!

6:30 PM Walk over to Lulu’s Oceanfront Restaurant

7:00 PM Enjoy a group dinner

8:30 PM Return to the hotel

TUESDAY, MARCH 24

6:20 AM Walk over to Perry’s

6:30 AM Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Perry’s (casual clothes)

7:30 AM Load motor coaches and depart for Pearl Harbor

Home to the final resting place for the USS Arizona and many of the 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives on December 7, 1941.

8:45 AM 1^st group of 59 view the movie

9:00 AM 2^nd group of 59 view the movie

9:15 AM Remainder of the group view movie

Afterwards Board the Navy Launch to visit the resting place of the U.S.S. Arizona.

10:30 AM Walk over to the U.S.S. Bowfin

At the Pearl Harbor’s U.S.S. Bowfin, we’ll go below deck to wind our way through the narrow compartments where the Bowfin’s crew worked, ate and slept though nine harrowing war patrols. You will learn about the Bowfin, which served with great distinction in WWII and earned her nickname “The Pearl Avenger.”

11:00 AM Fremd H.S. Concert Band Performance at U.S.S. Bowfin

12:15 PM Enjoy a boxed lunch

Following Tour the U.S.S. Bowfin

1:30 PM Pool or beach time back at hotel

5:00 PM Load coaches and depart for Ala Moana Center

Free time to shop

6:00 PM Fremd H.S. Band Performance (based on acceptance)

7:00 PM Dinner in the food court (meal $ provided)

8:00 PM Load motor coaches; return to the hotel

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25

7:30 AM Walk over to Perry’s

7:45 AM Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Perry’s

9:00 AM Depart for Snorkeling @ Hanauma Bay

1:00 PM Return to the hotel

Afternoon Free time on the beach. Grab some lunch (student cost)

3:30 PM Freshen up and change for this evening’s Luau

4:45 PM Load motor coaches and depart for Germaine’s Luau

Germaine's Luau provides the grandeur of the Royal Court and Polynesian Show extravaganza to a sumptuous all-you-can-eat feast, it's a fun-filled evening that will bring Hawaii home to your heart!

9:30 PM Load motor coaches; return to the hotel

THURSDAY, MARCH 26

7:45 AM Walk over to Perry’s

8:00 AM Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Perry’s

Morning Free time at the Beach

1:00 PM Group lunch at Planet Hollywood

4:00 PM Fremd H.S. Marches in the Prince Kuhio Parade

Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole was born on March 26th 1871, in Koloa, Kauai, the youngest son of Kauai High Chief David Kahalepouli and Princes Kinoki Kekaulike. He is known as the “The Citizen Prince”, a well educated sportsman and statesman. Prince Kuhio served as a U.S. Delegate to the Congress, and was responsible for creation of the Hawaiian Homes Commissions Act, which provided homesteads for the native Hawaiians. Prince Kuhio passed away in January 7, 1922, at the age of 51. Prince Kuhio Day is a formal state holiday in Hawaii.

6-9:00 PM Prince Kuhio Moonlight Concert at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Fabulous Hawaiian entertainment and cultural exhibits.

Depending on flight times: We can go to a Marketplace for lunch and souvenir shopping.
