ChemWest Mini-Grants Application
Due to the generous support from Tellabs, ChemWest is able to open applications for mini-grants for Chicago area teachers. These mini-grants are to be used to strengthen classroom teaching of
Chemistry at any grade level. They may also be used for curriculum enhancement or lab/demonstration development in Chemistry. The mini-grants are not intended to serve as a substitute for standard operating funds. Rather, they are auxiliary grants intended to enrich basic instructional activities. We have enough funds to give about twelve grants at no more than $250 each.Any questions please call Karl Craddock at Fremd High School 847-755-2816 or Paul Brandt 630-637-5193. These applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis until our funds have been exhausted.
If you are given the grant you would need to present the results/outcomes/ideas/demos{whatever} at a ChemWest meeting or one of the following IACT, ISTA, ACS, or DuPage institute day. This would be in the form of a very brief presentation of some form. We also need a letter [or video] back to show our grantors this is worthwhile.
