  • Are you planning to attend Harper College next year? There is a new program aimed at your parents. This Parent Orientation Program will be held on two different dates this spring. Please follow the link above to read about this new option.

  •  PA Announcements are no longer being made during the school day. Please check this space, the Scholarships page, and the College Visits page for current college information. If you do not check these pages regularly, you will miss out on opportunities.

  • If you are asking to be excused for a college visit, please call the Attendance Office two days prior to the visit. Written notes are not accepted. Calls received fewer than two days prior to a visit will be counted as excused absences and not as college visits.

  • Parents of seniors should ALL sign on to the District 211 Parent Access System. One of the options will enable you to review your student's transcript. Please check to make sure that all information that we are reporting to colleges is complete and correct. We include ACT and SAT scores as a convenience to you. If you do not wish  scores to be included, or if you do wish to have the Prairie State ACT scores included, you must inform us of those requests in writing. The Parent Access System can be invaluable to you. Access information is at the bottom of the student report cards.

  • All requests for transcripts require 5 days notice. All transcripts must be mailed (not emailed or sent electronically). They are printed at our school district office and sent back. Allow yourself the necessary amount of time.

  • BEWARE: we are receiving complaints from parents who are trying to access the FAFSA and instead are connecting to a private company that charges money to complete the form. The FAFSA is, by definition, FREE. Do not pay to have it completed. The correct website to access the FAFSA for college financial aid is www.fafsa.ed.gov.

  • The Career Exposition will be held at Willow Creek on April 28.  Review the flyer by following this link:  Career Expo Flyer
