Seniors may purchase prom tickets and post-prom tickets from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and juniors from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th. Prom tickets and post-prom tickets will be sold in the cafeteria. Please enter through entrance #15. Tickets are $140.00 per couple or $70.00 for an individual. Post-prom tickets are $50.00 a couple or $25.00 for an individual. Cash or separate checks are required (prom tickets made out to FHS with student's ID # in the memo spot and post-prom tickets made out to Viking Booster Club).
This year's prom will be held on Friday, May 31 at the Renaissance Hotel, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg, IL. The time schedule is as follows:
Check-in (students have pre-selected tables 6:00-7:00 p.m.)
Dinner served (7:30 p.m.)
Dancing (8:30-10:30 p.m.)
Post Prom Information
Once again, the Viking Booster Club is sponsoring a Post-Prom event at the Crystal Gardens on Navy Pier following the FHS Prom. Under the supervision of Booster Club parents, Post-Prom attendees will enjoy dancing to Dance Party DJ’s and their special guest B 96’s DJ Spin. Food, soft drinks, and spectacular views of Navy Pier's Ferris Wheel, Dock Street, and the Chicago Skyline are all provided without leaving the building. Tickets will be sold on Saturday, May 18th during Prom ticket sales and during lunch periods on May 20, 21, and 22. outside of the Fremd cafeteria. Cost is $25 per attendee, $50 per couple. Checks should be made out to Viking Booster Club.
All students and guests must EACH turn-in a post prom permission form when they purchase their tickets signed by their parents, and include emergency contact phone numbers. Permission forms are on the Fremd website at www.fhs.d211.org on the main page. Permission forms can also be picked up in the main office. For safety reasons, no student will be allowed to board a bus to Post-Prom without having submitted this permission form.
- Board chartered coach buses at the Renaissance Center in Schaumburg (10:30 p.m.)
- Arrive at the Crystal Gardens on Navy Pier in Chicago (11:00-11:15 p.m.)
- Enjoy the Entertainment of B96 DJ SPIN, soft drinks, and food (11:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m.)
- Board bus for the return to the Renaissance Center in Schaumburg (2:30 a.m.)
- Arrive at the Renaissance Center in Schaumburg (3:00 a.m.)
For liability insurance reasons, we will notify the parents of any student signed up for the Post-Prom event who fails to attend. The luxury buses chartered by the Viking Booster Club are the only allowable transportation to and from the Crystal Gardens.
The Crystal Gardens has stringent policies regarding drugs and alcohol use. Anyone in possession of either drugs or alcohol before, during, or following the event will be turned over to the Chicago Police Department.
The Viking Booster Club is acting solely as chaperones of this event and is not responsible for articles lost or injuries incurred while on either the chartered bus or at the Crystal Garden.
Each year we solicit donations for bus transportation. These donations defray the costs for the students. If you can help us by either donating on your own or organizing a "team of parents" who are willing to contribute, that would help tremendously! As parents working together, we can all contribute to a safe, fun-filled post-prom experience. BECOME A FREMD BOOSTER!!
The Viking Booster club is kicking off their membership drive for the 2012-2013 school year. For those of you who already signed up through the school registration form, we thank you. For those that haven’t signed up, there is plenty of time.
WHO CAN BE A MEMBER OF THE FREMD BOOSTER CLUB?
Any parent that will have a child attending Fremd High School in the current school year.
WHY WOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?
Simply put… the Booster Club provides support and services to ALL students at Fremd High School. By becoming a member, you will be supporting all of the organizations, athletic teams, and clubs.
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
Your minimum requirement is the $25.00 annual membership dues. That’s it. These dues entitle you to the Fremd Viking decal and an electronic copy of the family directory. However, we encourage and welcome your talents, time and ideas to support this terrific organization.

- Visit the Viking Booster Club table at the Parent Open House on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at 7:00PM. The table will be located in the main hallway by the Viking circle carpet. Forms will be available and members will be there to help you.
