Congratulations to Coach Kristen Newby and the Boys Swimming and Diving Team on placing 2nd at the Buffalo Grove Bison Invite. The following award winners are: Ryan Klarner was 1st place in diving; 200 yard medley relay made up of Andrew Mueller, Austin Yurasek, Roshan Rajan, and Won Suk Choi was 3rd; Andrew Mueller won the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 backstroke; Maxwell Proven was 3rd in the 100 backstroke; the 400 free relay made up of Andrew Mueller, Timothy Norman, Won Suk Choi, and Rajan Roshan was 2nd; and the 400 free relay made up of Connor Helsdingen, Alec Assmann, Maxwell Provan, and Rishi Thakkar took 3rd place.

Congratulations to the Fremd Wind Symphony for their performance/presentation at the 65th Annual Midwest Clinic at McCormick Center West on December 15th. The Midwest Clinic is the world's largest band and orchestra convention. The band performed 13 pieces for an audience of approximately 700 music educators discussing the topic "Good Music is Good Music: Choosing Quality Wind Literature Regardless of the Difficulty Level". Students also had the opportunity to meet world famous composers and try out professional level instruments."

Congratulations to Coach Tim Hamman and the Girls Gymnastics Team on placing 2nd at the New Trier Invite. Stephanie Gallo placed 1st on the Uneven Bars.

Congratulations to Boys Wrestler Ronnie Hauser on winning his division at the Harvard Holiday Tournament. He was voted Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.

Congratulations to Director Matt Moore and the Fremd Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab Band for the performances at the Glenbrook South High School “35th Annual Northshore Jazz Festival” on Saturday. The Jazz Ensemble was awarded an overall “Division 1/Superior” Rating (unanimous - all three professional jazz judges) in the top band division. The Jazz Lab Band was also awarded an overall “Division 1/Superior” Rating in the second band division.
